Osborn Campaign Weekly Wrap-Up October 24

Dear Supporters,

We are spending October doing my favorite part of campaigning, travelling the state and having conversations with Nebraskans. This week, we narrowed it down to just 14 more stops on the 93-county tour. Our Sandhills tour took us to 20 different towns and cities in Nebraska in just 4 days.

We also got to join some student journalists at the NHSPA conference. It’s always great to talk with the next generation. I was very impressed with some of the questions the students had. The future of Nebraska’s journalism is in good hands.

We also held a huge town hall in Lincoln Monday night. Thank you to everyone who took the time to come out. Seeing the enthusiasm at these events continue to grow demonstrates the spirit of Nebraskans as we get closer to election day. We came back Wednesday for an event with Stocking the Capitol. Nico and I had a great conversation about how to get the money out of politics.

Election day is just around the corner. We are under 10 days until election day, which means early voting has already begun. If you have any questions about voting, please get in contact with the secretary of state’s office. If you need help with a plan to vote, give us a call or stop by one of our field offices and we can help you out.

We have to keep pushing forward, all the way through the finish line. Every door knocked, every call made when phone banking, and every conversation with a neighbor counts. Together we can show what a real grassroots movement can do, and show Pete Ricketts Nebraska is Not For Sale.

Coming Up

We will be completing the 93-county tour this week. Traveling across the state has been unforgettable. There are so many stories tucked in every corner of our great state, and every new town we go to I get to learn more about the people I am asking to put their faith in me. Check out our next stop at Osbornontour.com.

In the News

We stopped into Lincoln and sat for an interview with Madison Hill and some other journalism students at UNL. Check out this story in the Daily Nebraskan.

NCN came out and covered out event with Stocking the Capitol.

The New York Times featured our race. Check out Emma Schartz’s article here.

Bloomberg highlighted our big tent coalition in this article.

And if you didn’t want to stay up until 10:30 to catch Dan on MSNOW, you can watch him here.

Fundraising

October is when most people are paying attention, so we need to keep our foot on the gas. When it comes to our 93-county tour, that’s pretty literal. We need to keep gas in the car so we can hit every corner of Nebraska and keep campaigning the right way. Ricketts is able to call on the party political machine and large corporations for millions more dollars on demand. We have to rely on you. If you are willing and able to donate to help us get this race over the finish line, please do so HERE.

Thank you.

Volunteer Asks

In 2024, Dan came unbelievably close to winning this seat. This year, Nebraska has once again attracted national attention as one of 2026’s most hotly contested races.

That’s why we need YOUR help to make sure that every voter in Nebraska has the chance to hear Dan’s message. We might not have the billionaire special interests on our side, but we have something more powerful: the hardworking people of the Cornhusker State.

The most important action you can take is to reach out to your fellow Nebraskans by knocking doors. Even if you only have a few hours a week, every door counts. Click HERE to sign up for your first shift! This weekend, canvasses will be launched in:

  • Kearney

  • Lincoln

  • West Omaha

  • Omaha Campaign HQ

  • Richardson

  • Beatrice

  • Columbus

  • Fremont

  • Lyons

If you can’t canvass for us (again, the MOST important thing you can do to support the campaign), or if you want to double up on volunteer opportunities, Team Dan also offers phonebanks every evening – except for Friday or Monday – from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM (except for Cornhusker game days – then it will be from 2-4!). Put on your comfiest clothes, pour a cup of tea, and come hang out with us. Sign up https://www.mobilize.us/osbornforsenate/?event_type=2.

Finally, if none of these options appeal to you, feel free to come attend one of our Volunteer Gatherings, where you can socialize with your friends, make yard signs, organize your neighbors, phonebank in person, and more!

Finally, be sure to take a look at our upcoming events calendar. We are proud to represent working Nebraskans, and always excited to meet the people who make this state great.
