Osborn Campaign Weekly Wrap-Up August 29
Dear Supporters,
This was a busy week! Of course we are still preparing for our debate with Ricketts on September 1. We’re excited for the opportunity to put our vision of the country up there against our opponents. In the run up to the debate, we already have our booth set up at the Nebraska State Fair.

To all fair goers, feel free to step right up and try our football toss game. Whether you hit the pass or not, feel free to take home a yard sign. Also, talk to one of our awesome volunteers who will be staffing the booth all fair long. It’s a great way to get involved with our campaign.
We also had a poll release this week, showing a tied race. That means it’s within the margin of effort. For us to win, we need as much help as possible. YOU can help us get over the line in November NOW. At the bottom of this newsletter, we have volunteer asks that will point you in the right direction to make your effort count.

In the News
Joe Foral wrote to the World Herald’s Public Pulse about why Dan won’t have to answer to party bosses in the Senate.
A new poll is out, and it is showing this race tied. Check out this story from Newsweek for the breakdown.
In Wired, you can read about Dan’s pledge to AI safety and data center transparency.

Social Media Highlights
On Facebook, we’ve got a great checklist of everything Pete Ricketts has “delivered” for Nebraskans. Also, we had a poll come back this week showing we are tied.
On Instagram, Dan has signed the AI Pact, committing to protecting our data and resources.
And on X. Did you know Pete Ricketts’ biggest donors are his mom and his dad? They sure must love him!
And of course, rest in peace Dolly Parton.
Volunteer Asks
In 2024, Dan came unbelievably close to winning this seat. This year, Nebraska has once again attracted national attention as one of 2026’s most hotly contested races.
That’s why we need YOUR help to make sure that every voter in Nebraska has the chance to hear Dan’s message. We might not have the billionaire special interests on our side, but we have something more powerful: the hardworking people of the cornhusker state.
The most important action you can take is to reach out to your fellow Nebraskans by knocking doors. Even if you only have a few hours a week, every door counts. Click HERE to sign up for your first shift! This weekend, canvasses will be launched in:
Kearney
Lincoln
Omaha
Richardson
Beatrice
Columbus
Fremont
Lyons
If you can’t canvas for us (again, the MOST important thing you can do to support the campaign), or if you want to double up on volunteer opportunities, Team Dan also offers phonebanks every evening – except for Friday – from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Put on your comfiest clothes, pour a cup of tea, and come hang out with us. Sign up HERE.
Finally, be sure to take a look at our upcoming events calendar. We are proud to represent working Nebraskans, and always excited to meet the people who make this state great.
